Welcome To My New Digs
Welcome everyone to the new site for my blog, “So, what were we talking about again?”. As you can see, we got a fresh and distinct new look that makes quite a departure from what I was using over on the wordpress.com site. Being able to design the site myself, I was able to create a look and feel that I think really captures not just my writing style, but also me as a person. That’s why you’ll notice some delightfully bright and happy artwork at the bottom of my site, provided courtesy of my children. I’ve written before about them and the impact they’ve had on both my life and my perspective of the world; for me it was a given to have some tangible part of them present here on my site.
Of course, all of the articles – and your comments that you shared on my previous site – can be found here. You can locate that content either by doing a direct search in the search box above or simply by visiting the archives and scrolling through the various months and perusing the articles by title. And yes, the blog name remains the same since it rather aptly conveys what I wish to use it for. I’ll be leaving my blog up at tanveernaseer.wordpress.com, but over the next couple of days, I’ll be shearing the articles and appending a link note to direct people to read the full article here. If you were subscribing to my blog feed before, please make a note to update your readers to grab the feed here. And if you haven’t subscribed to my feed yet, now is a great time to start and keep up to date on when I post new content on my blog.
As you’ll find perusing the place, this new site is not simply going to be a new home for my blog; this site will also serve as my professional writing site to allow prospective clients to learn more about my writing styles and abilities and to contact me for my services in writing content or material for their projects. However, this won’t have any impact on what you’ll find me writing about here on my blog; in fact, it’s what I’ve been writing about in the past that has caught the attention of others looking for someone to help them breathe life through the written word for the ideas or concepts they have in mind.
These are indeed exciting times and I’m glad you’ve decided to come along for the ride. So take a look around, feel free to explore the place to see what’s new and interesting, and please do leave a comment here letting me know what you think of the new site. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
