I'm glad to hear I could help contribute some thoughts on President Obama's visit to Canada for your news piece. I'm very flattered to help out a PBS news source in their coverage of Obama's first foreign visit.

My pleasure. President Barack Obama made his first trip out of the United States since taking office on Thursday, venturing north to Canada ... Below, read what Canadian bloggers thought of Obama’s visit and trade developments.
Blogger “Tanveer” writes that Obama’s brief trip will not sufficiently address the trade issue, or any other:
How can any of us take such notions seriously when he’s only allocating six hours to discuss issues that are of high importance to the United States’ biggest trading partner? Can we really expect Harper and Obama to make any grounds regarding the “Buy American” clause featured in Obama’s much hyped stimulus package?
[...]Americans of course are welcome to rally around Obama; he is after all their president. However, Canadians are in need of a wake-up call to realize that what Obama does might be good for America, but that doesn’t mean it will be good for Canada as well.

Excerpt from your blog was featured in our site's article "<a

It's great to see Canadians welcoming a foreign dignitary and offering advice on what to see as well as things to know about the people of this land. How sad it is to think that Obama isn't willing to return the gesture. After all, listening to others is not a fast-food concept, especially when one is interacting with those you publicly refer to as friends.
On an aside, I have to admit it is very cool to see a department of the Canadian government stopping by here to post a comment (yes, that is Canada's Tourism department posting above).
This country rocks. :)

Is it still a wonder why I love this country?

It’s great to see Canadians welcoming a foreign dignitary and offering advice on what to see as well as things to know about the people of this land.
