For the past two days, I’ve been participating in the online celebration TweetsGiving which, in collaboration with the non-profit organization Epic Change, is working to build new facilities for the school they helped to construct in Arusha, Tanzania. But now I want to talk about another cause that deserves some of our attention.

As is the case with most social causes, the focus of this movement is on a group that has been marginalized – if not completely overlooked – thanks to the frenzied pace of our modern society. And yet, I think all of us can agree that this group’s contribution to our society is not only valuable, but at times necessary for us to be able to move on to the more demanding aspects of our daily lives.

The following public service announcement was created to help raise awareness of this important social cause. I’m sure it will give everyone plenty to think about in how we can start making a change for the better.

One of the great things about the Net is how it enables talented individuals to share their gift with people throughout the world.  And it doesn’t matter what their talent is or what the subject matter is about; if it’s good, you’ll undoubtedly find an audience if not through sheer word of mouth.

It’s for this reason I want to use my blog to showcase the artwork of a talented artist who painted an intriguing tribute to one of my all-time favourite comedies, “Seinfeld”.  Artist Kiersten Essenpreis is the painter behind a fantastic collage painting called “Seinfeldology (99 Seinfeld References)” and as the title infers, it contains 99 different references to characters, story plots, and other details from the irreverent comedy series.  Check it out – Click here to continue reading »”A Seinfeld Work of Art – Making Something From Nothing”
